I also have a similar issue; when I got my FBE-200 (LAN model) and hooked it up to a computer directly for configuration, at first, all was well- except I have made a mistake in the key address for the stream, but, since it was configured for a DHCP net, I KNEW that I wouldn't be able to find the web manager address after I set it up and EXPECTED that issue. I thought "I'll reset it to factory and log in and set it up from scratch" again..
I tried to press and hold the FACTORY RESET button on the front panel for 6 seconds.. the "status light" blinks, then goes out (as per the manual) however, now I can't reach the web admin panel even when directly connected to a machine directly on the same net.. the DHCP net it was originally configured for is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the "factory" net therefore, once configured for that net, it couldn't be accessed anyways.. but I expected that a "factory reset" would allow me to access a "clean slate" on 192.168.1.168 but this isn't the case- the unit now appears either not working or "completely lost" did the reset button reset ALL parameters?
machine: running windows 7, using Chrome to access the web manager
machine IP: 22.214.171.124
FBE200: "factory resetted" (192.168.1.168 ??)
(there appears to be NO device found at that address.)
I have tried 3 different machines configured and pressing the button many times..
in short, I should see this thing.. unless its lost its marbles somehow and cant read a direct connection.. I will now try inserting a non-managed switch and see if that might work.. (in case it can't function without a pass-through/cross-over cable now) but, in any case.. its currently "not reachable"
