When using FBE200 in DHCP mode, at each reboot, it gets a new IP address from the DHCP server. This is not OK, the DHCP server has a lease time of several hours, but still, FBE200 does not respect this, it gets new address at each reboot.
I Investigated the reason a bit, the DHCP server logs say during the handshake process:
dhcpd: Abandoning IP address 172.22.40.164: pinged before offer
It looks like the FM200 assigns the previous IP address to the network interface before the final DHCPOFFER from the server, the server checks it and if it finds it busy it forces to a new address. This happens every time FM200 is rebooted.
I also noticed errorneous states when the LAN port in FM200 was accessible on the new IP address, but the network status pages prints the previous address:
